Privacy

A short, plain-language privacy note.

We are keeping ZenEmu deliberately simple.

What we do not use

ZenEmu does not currently use advertising, marketing tracking, third-party analytics, newsletter tracking or non-essential cookies.

Anonymous visitor measurement

ZenEmu uses a small first-party measurement tool to understand whether guides are being used. It records the page viewed, broad referral type and PDF downloads. It does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, fingerprinting, accounts or profiles.

To estimate daily visitor numbers and filter obvious bots, the server creates a one-way, day-specific code from the connection address and browser information. It does not store the address or full browser information itself. These daily records are kept for up to 400 days, then removed automatically.

Hosting

Our hosting provider may process limited technical information needed to deliver the website, such as IP address and server-request logs.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you choose to provide so that we can read and reply to it. The form uses a strictly necessary session cookie to protect it from misuse. To reduce spam, the server temporarily records a hashed version of the connection address after a message is sent; it is used only to apply a 15-minute sending limit.

Please do not include private medical information, passwords or other confidential details in a contact-form message.

Future changes

If we add a newsletter service or affiliate links, this page will be updated before those tools are used. We will explain what changes, why, and what choices are available to you.
